Inevitable
by Eileen Meyer
Singer and songwriter Eileen Meyer offers a wonderful tribute to Spirit in her new album, Inevitable. Here is a recording that speaks to love, compassion and understanding.
The ten original songs are upbeat yet soft; meditative and transportive; and all the while guiding the listener to an understanding of our true purpose---love! Eileens lyrics are all about a better way. About Spirit, she sings, You give me the freedom to feel everything, from the song, Its all OK. And from her second track, Thats What Love would Do, she asks, Have you ever opened your heart ?
Inevitable is the direct result of Eileens transformation to that better way. She no longer considers herself an entertainer. For ten years she sang in bars and encouraged unconsciousness. Then she went through an awakening experience that led to an understanding of Love.
Today, that Love comes through her in the form of song. With her soaring and warm voice, Eileen captivated this reviewer. She told me as she will tell you, that we are beautiful people---and why. For her, Love has come to stay. For us, Inevitable illuminates the path to finding and embracing Love.
Eileen Meyer wrote all the songs for Inevitable, and accompanies herself on the piano. Backing her up is Larry Mitchell on guitar, bass and synth. This reviewer believes that such talent comes from a higher place. Call it Spirit. Call it Love. Call it God. And call it great!
